Can I set up my own internship?

Yes. If you want to pursue or have already set up your own internship, you may submit a proposal to the Hinckley Institute to request academic credit and/or institutional support.

The Hinckley Institute of Politics is committed to provided students unrivaled internship experiences. Accordingly, if a student secures a placement with an office on their own, we still offer credit and funding opportunities. Eligibility depends on the legitimacy of the office, communication with supervisor, and the number of internship hours available.
