The campaigns listed on our website directly reached out to the Hinckley Institute for interns and volunteers. If your campaign is interested in working with Hinckley Interns, please apply under "Become an Approved 2016 Campaign."
Florida Democratic Party
The Florida Democratic Party is working to elect Democrats up and down the ticket in November through a coordinated campaign. This will include the Democratic presidential nominee and congressional races.
Interns are unpaid but supporter housing is available and many interns transition into paid organizing positions.
Areas of Specialization
This opportunity is for organizing (field) fellows.
The Florida Coordinated Campaign is seeking intelligent, outgoing fellows who are ready to assist with voter outreach and help elect Democratic candidates across the state. In addition to being incredibly valuable to the campaign, Organizing Fellows develop skills that can be applied in a wide range of sectors and industries, including presenting, careful listening, data reporting & tracking, hustle, messaging, and teamwork. They also get firsthand exposure to how a major campaign operates, which is valuable for anyone interested in careers in politics or civic engagement. The Coordinated Campaign is the umbrella organization under which the state party combines its resources and focuses its efforts to ensure that all Democrats in the state, including the presidential nominee, are elected.
No experience necessary! Qualified interns are excited to learn and help elect democrats up and down the ticket.
