As part of KCPW's pledge week, the Hinckley Institute has offered a challenge grant of $1,000 to help inspire people to support KCPW's programming, which includes the Hinckley Institute Radio Hour every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
The special segment will include live appearances by Senator Orrin Hatch and Representative Jason Chaffetz, the "Best of 2013-14 Hinckley Forums", and commentary from our very own Director. Highlights include "Sharing Political Experience and Wisdom" from Senator Bob Bennett and "Encouraging Citizen Involvement with Local State Politics" by Rep. Brian King and Lt. Governor Spencer Cox.
HINCKLEY RESIDENT SCHOLAR JOHN PRICE SPONSORS RISING FROM ASHES FUNDRAISER

The Hinckley Institute's esteemed Resident Scholar, former Ambassador John Price, and his wife Marcia Price will host a private film screening of Rising from Ashes, a feature length documentary about about a national cycling team pursuing their dreams in the face of national crisis and genocide.
Film director T.C. Johnstone will attend this exclusive event, and all proceeds will benefit the Utah Film Center and the Utah High School Cycling League.

The Hinckley Institute and KSL are pleased to announce a Doug Wright Town Hall with Maryland Representative Elijah Cummings (D) and Utah Representative Jason Chaffetz (R) on Monday, August 4 at noon on KSL Radio 102.7 FM.
The University of Utah, via the Hinckley Institute, is the only university to offer a Campaign Management Minor in the nation, the Hinckley Institute of Politics sponsors the Campaign Management course (HNKLY 3160).
This singular opportunity is designed to introduce students to the management of political and public affairs campaigns through guest speakers, lectures, and active participation in a campaign. Registration for the course is open to all students and credit is cross-listed with POLS 3160.
The Hinckley Institute is thrilled to announce that is has reached an agreement to send up to 15 students to England to intern on British campaigns for the spring semester 2015. To increase application eligibility, this phenomenal course, taught in fall semester 2014, is strongly recommended.
