For local internships, you can secure either 3 credit hours (10 hours per week of interning) or 6 credit hours (20 hours per week of interning).
For national or international internships, you can register for 3-12 credit hours but are expected to intern full-time (40 hours per week).
The Hinckley Institute wants students to get the very most out of their internship experience. Accordingly, there are no classes or assignments given during the semester. Students have a grace period upon their return for completing a research paper relevant to their tasks/office (the length depends on the number of credit hours).
