HINCKLEY INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Hinckley Institute of Politics' nationally recognized internship program has provided more than 5,500 students with internship experiences since its establishment in 1965. Through a generous contribution from the Li Ka Shing Foundation, the Hinckley Institute expanded its program to establish world-renowned international internships in key locations around the world. The goal of the international internship program is to provide students with experience in global public policy, service, business, and politics as well as foster greater understanding among peoples, cultures, and governments.
Hinckley interns have endless opportunities to participate in global affairs. Some international internship positions available: Executive Assistant to a Member of European Parliament or Australia Parliament, Analyst for Citigroup in Beijing China, Project Manager for a business leadership training course in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and Communications Assistant for Mexico's top lobbying firm. This is just a sample of the opportunities offered through the Hinckley Institute. See fact sheets for more information and all the internships available.

“You can always travel the world as a tourist, but going with a purpose is always more fulfilling. The Hinckley facilitates this opportunity." -Sarah Bartlett, Intern at Ascend Alliance, Spring 2011.
"There is no way I would have been able to intern abroad and in a place like the U.S. Mission to NATO without the help of the Hinckley Institute of Politics. My time at the University of Utah was greatly enriched thanks to the Hinckley." -Cody Rogers, Intern with the U.S. Mission to NATO, Spring 2011.
"My internship at the European Parliament was a wonderful experience. While learning about European politics, my vision of American politics became more distinct. An internship that provides you with far more than a desk and assignments is so valuable." -Ashley Jolin, Intern at the European Parliament, Spring 2011.
