Hinckley Journal of Politics
The Hinckley Journal of Politics strives to publish scholarly papers
of exceptional caliber, promoting the intellectual talents and understanding
of University of Utah undergraduate students in the field of Political Science. Contributing
articles should address pertinent issues by illuminating key problems
and potential solutions, adhering to the highest standards of political
research and analysis. The Journal seeks to cover issues ranging from
local to international political concerns, embracing diverse political
perspectives and a variety of analytical approaches. With this publication
the Hinckley Institute hopes to encourage reader involvement in the intriguing
world of politics.
Hinckley "Participation" Newsletter
Participation is an annual publication of the Hinckley Institute of
Politics. This newsletter recognizes student achievement, acknowledges
donors, and highlights recent events at the Hinckley Institute.
Conference Reports
The Hinckley Institute of Politics and the Campaign Legal Center co-host
an annual conference in Salt Lake City on campaign finance and election-related issues. Past
participants include Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Commissioner Scott
Thomas of the Federal Election Commission. Reports of these conferences
document the dialogue and issues discussed at the conference.
G8 Magazine
The Hinckley Institute has partnered with the G8 Magazine, the official magazine for the G8 Summit, and is head of editorial content. The 2008 G8 Magazine featured three Hinckley Intern articles, a one page prominently placed ad for the Hinckley Institute, and various other contributions from the SJ Quinney Law School and University President Michael Young. The Hinckley Institute is thrilled about this partnership and to be featured in this prominent international magazine which boasts an online readership of over 20 million.
