Abrelia Clarissa Hinckley was a remarkable person who led by example
and served her country well. This Abrelia C. Hinckley Graduate Scholarship was established
to encourage students to follow her example of public service and
political involvement.
RequirementS
One $3,500 scholarship will be awarded to
a female graduate student
who has significant experience in community involvement and commitment
to a career in public service.
APPLICATION MATERIALS
- Cover page
that includes name, social security number and contact information
- Transcripts
from all universities or colleges attended
- Indication of any honors
or awards received (academic or other)
- Record of formal educational
training, academic aspirations and career goals
- Statement describing
past involvement and future goals in public service
- Two or more
letters of recommendation addressed to the Hinckley Institute
- Recent
writing sample related to politics (Please do not exceed 10 pages)
- Other
information as desired
