United Way is a multinational organization that works to unite community, business, philanthropy, and government in collaborative action to improve education, employment, health, and housing in disadvantaged communities. They work to identify issues and create action plans to address them. They also help to secure funding and the workforce needed to implement them.
Interns fulfill various tasks such as office administration, helping with programs, doing research, planning events, attending meetings. They will also help in working with other partner organizations to create plans and fulfill the mission of United Way.
