A Challenge to Higher Education: In the era of mass incarceration, how can colleges and universities be part of the solution?  

Nationally, the importance of access to higher education for formerly and currently incarcerated individuals has been introduced with the Beyond the Box Coalition and Second Chance Pell Initiative. In a discussion with local leaders, we will examine how Utah and the West can incorporate these strategies as we seek to reduce incarceration rates and recidivism.
