Internship Overview

The Analyzing Development Issues Centre is a non-governmental organization that works to improve analysis of development issues through development research. Their goal is to contribute to beneficial social change in local communities. Their work focuses on Cambodian economic and social realities and includes research on policy concerning vulnerable groups in poor and food insecure provinces.


ADIC is looking for interns who can help with various projects that may differ from semester to semester. Here are some examples:

  • Followup study of migration and older persons in Battambang Province, the topic we did together with University of Utah in 2012

  • Create proposal for implementing a project on communal land titling (CLT) in 50 indigenous communities in collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC).  

  • Write a number of research papers related to 1) CLT and Conservation, 2) Safe migration for International Journal;

  • Review Community Fishery (CFi) along Mekong River
