The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. U.S. Commercial Service trade professionals in over 100 U.S. cities and in more than 75 countries help U.S. companies get started in exporting or increase sales to new global markets.
Interns may be asked to research and update regional business information and statistics. Keep abreast of the latest Chinese regulatory issues. Coordinate and maintain relationships with clients. Help compose briefs and articles for publication and assist with PR for marketing events around China. Students may be offered a range of projects according to interests and academic background.
