Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah logo

The Hinckley Institute was established in 1965 through the generous bequest of the Noble Foundation and Robert H. Hinckley. It is dedicated to teaching students respect for practical politics and the principle of citizen involvement in government.

  • The Hinckley Institute has partnered with the G8 Magazine, for the G8 Summit in L'Aquila Italy and is head of editorial content. The 2009 G8 Magazine featured three Hinckley Intern articles.
  • The 2008 Hinckley Institute of Politics Participation Newsletter is now available.
  • Register now for classes offered through the Hinckely Institute of Politics. Political Management, Political Forums Series, and Legislative Prep (for students interning at the Utah State Legislature).
