The U's global internship program is run by the Hinckley Institute and the Office for Global Engagement. It has secured positions in more than 50 nations.
The Hinckley Institute boasts one of the longest-standing DC internship programs in the nation. It provides more than 100 students annually with full-time, paid, and housed internships.
The Hinckley Institute annually sends approximately 150 students to Utah campaigns, government offices, and non-profit organizations.
Hinckley Interns function as support staff to legislators during the Spring Semester of each year. Interns track legislation, write speeches, attend committee meetings, research issues, and analyze bills.
Need help financing your education? The Hinckley Institute awards several merit-based scholarships annually, as well as the low-interest Bill Rishel loan.
Consider submitting your best work to the prestigious Hinckley Journal of Politics, the only undergraduate-run journal of politics in the nation, or serving on this publication's editorial board.
The Hinckley Institute prides itself on hosting first-rate conferences and functions each year.
The Hinckley Institute welcomes more than 100 speakers and panelists each year with topics ranging from policy to current events. Past Hinckley Forum guests include major figures such as Bill Clinton, Mitt Romney, Thomas Friedman, and Malcolm Gladwell.
