NATIONAL CAMPAIGN CONFERENCE

Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts

The Hinckley Institute is a member of a consortium of 35 schools around the country working to promote voting and civic engagement on their college campuses. The Harvard Institute of Politics hosts this biannual conference bringing representatives from these campuses to discuss issues relating to civic engagement and eliminating barriers to democracy. Throughout the conference, students participate in town halls, panel discussions, and workshops. They have the opportunity to hear from distinguished Harvard faculty and staff, as well as national civic engagement leaders. Learn More

OXFORD CONSORTIUM FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Oxford University, England

The Oxford Consortium is a week of intensive workshops, presentations, and discussions on a wide variety of topics related to Human Rights. Student participants travel in a small cohort to Oxford for a week of immersive learning and collaboration.The Consortium gives students passionate about human rights an opportunity to engage with fellow peers, colleagues, scholars, and professionals to learn and envision ways that they might contribute to the global task of combating human rights violations. Selected students come from a diverse range of departments, programs, and colleges and are sponsored by various units at the U, including the College of Law, College of Nursing, the Hinckley Institute, Honors College, and the Office for Global Engagement.
