Do you want to make a difference? At this Hinckley Forum, come hear from two distinguished speakers who can help you find careers that have a global impact. Our panelists will give insight into academic careers, work experience, and more! Additionally, you will learn about about several opportunities that you can take advantage of now. We will discuss student opportunities to work across the State Department and Department of Defense Office of Naval Research (ONR) and introduce the exciting new Academic Centers of Conflict Anticipation & Prevention (ACCAP) Scholars Research Experience.
This forum comes at an exciting time for our campus. The State Department’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) recently invited the University of Utah to participate in its new initiative, Academic Centers of Conflict Anticipation & Prevention (ACCAP). The U of U is one of six initial ACCAP institutions to be part of is to “establish a diverse national cadre of academic institutions and experts to supplement and expand the Bureau’s ability to anticipate and prevent conflict.”
