As part of International Education Week, we hope you will join the Hinckley Institute with Jamie Kern, Policy Officer for Energy at Delegation of the European Union to the United States.

Jamie is a recent graduate from the Financing and Deploying Clean Energy Certificate Program at Yale. He is also involved in projects and initiatives that encourage and empower students to make a global impact. During our online conversation, Jaime will talk about his career path as well as discuss some of the biggest developments in energy. If you are passionate about working on a global scale, protecting our environment, or learning about the rapidly evolving energy sector, this event is for you!

Learn more: "The global economy is transforming rapidly. The world needs leaders in all sectors who can connect the massive economic opportunity of clean energy to the moral imperatives of addressing climate change and protecting all communities and ecosystems. To tackle challenges, all must come together to design solutions that distribute costs and benefits equitably and build the clean energy future at a faster rate than thought possible. It requires accelerating and developing innovative approaches to how we finance, produce, distribute, and consume energy. It requires understanding powerful policy levers, optimizing financial and energy models, finding better applications of technology and leaning on a network of talented peers for insight and advice. It requires an informed workforce and powerful knowledge networks."
